I had a request to update my comments concerning the electoral map changes. Since the GOP convention started, this map has changed, drastically. Whereas before Kerry was leading by 280-238 margin, it is now reversed with Bush leading by a 280-242 margin.

I would suggest two things: 1) these polls are apparently very volatile, and 2) this map is likely benefiting from the current GOP convention coverage.

Given that Kerry held such a large lead even weeks after the Dems convention, I maintain that we should revisit this map near the end of September and see if Bush still holds his lead.
